Little J is coming for a respite tomorrow. His foster mom is going on a vacation and I was asked months ago if I could/would take him in. He's 3, very much delayed, G tube fed, autistic. This little munchkin was Sebastian's next door neigbor at ACH 3 years ago.
I just put together a toddlerbed, one of the boys will be sleeping in our room on it. J comes with his own little bed, a bed that I actually rescued from garbage day, perfect condition, a grandma did not need it anymore for her grandkids and put it at the curb. It's like a pack and play, but oval and it has a top that clsoes (netting) Little J is a head banger, so this bed has been a life saver for him.
Oma and I decided to get our nails done this morning, since after tomorrow it will be much busier. We went to an antique store that she loves, got the icecream cake at Walmart, beer&wine (yes we like a drink now and then, come on, parents of 5 kids, we have to have a drink for sanity purposes !)
I actually was asked for a driver's license when buying the beer&wine...........OH MY GOD..................it must have been the fact that I also got my eyebrows plucked this morning.............made me look much younger !!! LOL
