We went to Lake City for the weekend, rented a beautiful cabin, very cozy but spacious and equipped with everything under the sun, I mean really everything you might possibly need. When we got there it was pouring rain, so we all just hung out, explored the cabin. I went to the store with Oma to get some food and drinks.
The next day was a nice day, no rain, slightly overcast, but that is not a bad thing, I mean instead of the blazing sun..........................
We went to Ichatucknee park, rented tubes and floated down the river for 2 hours. Highly recommend it !! FUN !!! Crystal clear water, spring fed. Tons of turtles everywhere and huge catfish, that scared the crap out of Lili !! The poor thing thought they were little sharks.........LOL, the suckers were as long as my fore arm and the same steel gray color, so I can see where she might think they were little nibblers !!
The water is a nice 72 F, a little nippy for us, but not too bad. Max was with me at one point and tipped us over, I was not happy !!! It's ok to have your legs dangling, but and unexpected dunk.......................geez. He had the biggest grin and told me he did it on purpose, cause he had to go pee..................okay then....................
Righ at the end it started raining like it only rains here, a down pour that resembles a shower !!! Oh well, we were all in bathing suits anyway.
Pictures to follow, of the cabin, we couldn't bring anything on the tubing trip, so no pics of that, unfortunately !
