Today is Max' turn

Yesterday Sebastian stayed home because of a dr's appointment, today is Max' turn. We are going to se Dr Hubbard, his behavioral pediatrician. I have quite a lot to talk to her about...........there definitely is more aggression, most of it threatening to hit, chasing the girls, etc. School is still so so, the way things are now, he still can not keep it together to master some of the skills he's really needing for Kindergarten............................
As he's getting older he is getting more frustrated, because he knows he is supposed to be able to do these things.

It's about an hour's drive to Arcadia (the sticks)but well worth it !! He always misbehaves while we are there (Max and offices just don't mix well) so I am bringing some play doh, maybe that will do the trick, keep him busy.

On the drive there he is always good, just looking out the window. Dr Hubbard explained once that he must feel very safe and contained in a car. he can't go anywhere, he's with me and can finally relax. The more I read about PTSD, the more I am starting to understand.

Over the weekend I bought the 1-2-3 Magic book. i am reading it now, hopefully this will work/help as well.

I'll update later.
