Settling in

L is doing so good ! He is just a little snugglebug, loves to snuggle and hug, very affectionate ! He had a great first night, slept all the way through and woke up with a smile ! Tuesday night I had my first board meeting, so he came with me, fell asleep on the way home and never woke up when I took him from the car to his crib !

At night he is on continuous feeds, just like Sebastian, but after about 4 hrs, he will start coughing and coughing, which makes me think he's refluxing and the rate might be too fast (30 ml/hr)

Last night he was sitting with us as we were all watching Funny video's and he would laugh any time the kids would laugh, which would then make the kids laugh again LOL
I put him in bed at 7.25 pm, I could tell his eyes were starting to close, and sure enough, he was sound asleep in 5 minutes ! When I hooked him up I had lowered the rate, but again, same coughing spells, so I stopped the pump again. He woke up pretty early this morning, he was hungry ! Took about 2 oz by mouth, we bolused the rest.

During the day he just loves to crawl around and explore, loves to play. Right now he is sleeping a little nap. He is so tiny............:(

I still had a pair of Robeez, size 2 and he fits them easily, he's in 6-9 mos clothing.......................................

Part of settling in is reading his paperwork...............I already knew part of his story, because unfortunately, it was horrible enough to have made it to the frontpage of the newspaper here. To read the whole thing is nauseating..............
