We are getting a placement !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Little boy, 11 mos old, sweet, sweet little thing, has to be moved from his current foster home where he's been for the past 8 mos. I know his foster parents, they are good friends of mine.
Little one has a feeding tube ( we have a little experience with that LOL) and the regular line up of therapies. He sits independently, starting to crawl.
The kids will be so excited to have a baby that they can "play" with ! Today the social workers are going to get the paperwork together, over the weekend we will pick him up for a couple of hours every afternoon and hopefully on Monday it's a go !
Medical kids involve a lot more paperwork and people involved, so that's why things tend to move a bit slower.
Now I know saying no last week, was the right thing to do. This little one is a perfect fit for this family !
I am excited !!!!!!!!!!! Oma, now we will have a stroller when going to the mall !
Oma and I still fight over who gets to push the stroller, LOL
Off to hunt down a crib (gave mine away) and set it up !
