quiet afternoon

Unbelievable but true, I am sitting here on the couch, Max is sound asleep next to me, drooling like crazy, LOL

My regular computer is freezing up constantly, so I took my laptop back from Oscar. Yup the laptop my hubby had bought for mothers day last year (scoring major points I might add !! ) has been confiscated by my oldest. He ususally is in his room, playing music on it, messaging friends, while he has his I-pod on, completely disconnected from the world, must be nice !!

The kids were home early, thanks to half day wednesday, ofcourse Max made all the appropriate noises that he did not want to lay down, he was not tired, etc, etc. I think halfway through one of those sentences he was sound asleep !!

I went to Walmart with Sofia, she has lost another tooth and had some dollars saved up that were burning in her pocket, the Littlest Pets were calling her !! Whenever i go to the store, I try to take one of the kids, that's their special time, they get an Icee and we kind of doodle around................fun.

This morning flew by, F came by with her newly adopted son, who is as cute as can be ! She has a lot on her plate right now, since they just took custody of their grandchild as well, a little over a month ago. Keep this lady in your prayers, she needs some lifting up !

Then another friend came by with her brandnew baby girl, precious as can be !! I had offered my baby swing and pink bouncy for her to use. I will not be needing any of that stuff until well after the summer.........................no placements for now, makes me sad
Last week i was asked to take in a brand spanking new baby girl, born only the day before. Guys i can not tell you how hard it was to say no !!!!!!!!!!!!

Summer vacation is coming up though, I have to be realistic !!

Sofia has caught the reading bug, I LOVE it !!!!!!! i love to read myself and it has always been my wish that my kids would know and have the same love for books !!! She is reading chapter books, The boxcar kids, Junie B Jones and my all time favorite.........The little house one the prairie !!
