Okay, so Max was discharged on Thursday, came home with a drain. He was so brave in the hospital, every time the drain ahd to be changed he insisted on taking it out himself..................The dr's and nurses fell in love with him. The dr eevn said I could bring him over any time, "just to hang out", how cool is that !
The nurses spoiled him rotten, he was given a Build-a-Bear, a beautiful quilt, a game,action hero, play doh, coloring book. No wonder he loved the place !
Saturday we went out on the boat, Oma's last day in the sun. We decided to go out a little in the Gulf, to a sandbar that the kids like. We found 5 ! manatee's hanging out and I believe they were doing the wild thing (some of them, don't think wild orgy here !) I walked up to maybe 15 feet from them !
Sunday Oma left, Oscar and Sofia came to the airport, the rest stayed home with papa. We had lunch at TGIF after Oma checked in, Sofia had her hot wings she likes so much !!!
Sofia usually has a really hard time when Oma leaves, cries and cries, which then will get me going..........................but this time she gave Oma a kiss and a hug and kept it dry !!! She is growing !
The rest of the Sunday was spend very lazy, it was raining off and on.
Yesterday was max' check up with his favorite dr ! The incision looks good, no redness anymore. The site is still very hard, but that's scar tissue, so that will resolve over time.
Sebastian has not gained any weight and has now started "dumping" (every time he gets a tubefeed of Pediasure, he will get very pale and sweaty and have massive diarrea within an hour, it literally runs right through him !) His button has been hurting, but looks awesome, which makes us think he might have granulation tissue on the inside.................................He has a GI appt this afternoon.
This morning I dropped Max off at his summercamp..................that's what we call it, but it's a VPK program at a daycare close by, he was excited and found 2 old friends right away, one is a nephew of our neighbor and the other was a classmate at his preK class. Then it was Oscar's turn to be dropped off to make up his exams that he missed because of his surgery.
I'm off to wal mart with the other 3, we need to get some groceries............these\
kids eat a TON of food !!! Cleaning out the pantry and freezer !!
