I have to keep it short, need to get some sleep. Max came down yesterday with a funny spot on his thigh, looked like a pimple, but very quickly spread. Off to the ped, RX antibiotics, had 2 doses yesterday, by 8 pm he was crying how his leg was hurting, but did fall asleep soon after. This morning woke up with a high fever, red swollen area, very hot to the touch, could not walk anymore.
Oscar was scheduled for outpatient surgery today, little J (medical foster child) needed to be moved. A lot of arranging, phonecalls, etc
Little J went to another home and will stay there until C comes back from vacation. I will miss him, little oompaloompa !
Oma went with Oscar, they caught a ride from my neighbor and dear friend Polly. Thank you Polly !!!
Max was admitted to the hospital, they had to open the thigh, there was a huge pus pocket. Now he has a drain and is resting comfortably. Papa and Max are having a sleep over. I am back home to be with Oscar (who is quite comfy on his Loratabs) get the kids off to school in the morning and go back to the hospital.
The nurses are spoiling him rotten ! He was a TROOPER today ! He cried a little with the IV, but thenw as knocked out for the procedure. Right after he woke up he started getting very itchy in his face and on his head, so he needed Benadryl, which knocked him out again. I left him happy and smiling, watching Scooby Doo.
