So I haven't been posting a whole lot about L, he came back in October from the foster home of very good friends of mine. Such a sweet, sweet, tiny thing, with a whole big history.............................Bad stuff, heartbreaking stuff...........things bad enough to have made the front page of the newspaper and the local news........
I remember reading and hearing about this and saying a prayer for this child.......and who would have known.....................that this child would one day would become our number 6 !!!
Yes, number 6, forever..............we will be adopting again. I honestly thought we were done adopting, I was happy still fostering, just short term placements..........
(you'd think I know about those "short term" placements by now huh )
God had a very different plan............even though it looked like he was going back to his bio mom soon, and we were at a stage that he was going on unsupervised visits a LOT...............................things fell apart, and fell apart fast............
This child was put in harm's way again, by his mother, who was supposed to protect him.......................but God was watching over him !
Literally within weeks, both parents voluntarily surrendered their rights............
and so here we are..........getting ready for one more adoption...........not planned, not ever imagined.........................but the right thing............
