Just not enough hours in the day !!! Oscar had his appointment with urology and he will have surgery during springbreak. He is NOT happy about it, but it needs to be done. He is in the 1% category of guys that have this little problem and it is really easy to fix, but they need to make a small incision in a very sensitive area LOL, he is 16, so that makes it even harder on him !!
Lili had her vision eval, the outcome was not as bad as I thought it would be..........ofcourse they do recommend therapy, which is not covered, a 24 session "block" costs $1700................................ouch !
I am still debating, wanting to see how much things are going to improve with her new bi-focals.
Sofia has been doing good in school, still a little too talkative at times..................oh well, when teachers say that, I can't help but think how wonderfully normal that is !!! This is the child that would freeze when she entered her pre K room, or church or a party, completely freeze up and only whisper "people are looking at me, they are going to touch me" her sensory stuff was out of whack big time ! She would sit in a corner and not socialize at all...............then she made a friend..........wonderful ! It was a little boy with severe autism...........but these 2 had something special going on, Sofia could reach him and she felt safe socializing with him...............by the end of the school year this little boy had learned one word and that was Sofie's name.........
